The Crunch Begins

As I am now about a week away from the research showcase, I need to assess how I am going to meet the deadlines I set for myself. By Friday I plan to have the texturing done for my model, and I hope to have the base rig done by next Wednesday. I believe that if I can not get most of my rig finished, then the other option would be to apply a pre-made rig for the showcase. I want to make sure to focus on quality and not speed with my rig, since it will be the most difficult part of my original work, so by next week I doubt it will be perfectly finished. My progress on this project depends on how much time I spend on it, and since we are just getting back from winter break, I should have lots of time to work on it. I researched some tutorials to give me a better understanding of how to unwrap my UVs, and I believe this goal is very achievable. Furthermore, I need to prepare for my showcase display, which will be completed by this Friday along with my texture. I am confident about meeting the deadlines for this week, but I will have to be flexible with what I can present for the showcase. Before that Wednesday I will have a mentor visit, and that can allow me to look over my rig with Mr. Barsoum and decide if it is enough to present.
