At the start of this year, I was one of the many who began ISM without fully understanding what I was getting into. However, in only three weeks I learned all the expectations of the class and many professional tips from Coach Goff, and the assignments educated me more on the field of my topic. Now that I understand how to reach out to professionals, I feel like I will be more confident in searching for a career in the future. I also learned how much I am going to enjoy this class because I didn't mind giving a speech about my interests. My biggest challenge was the research assessment, as I was not keeping up with due dates as much as I should have been. I understand now that for next week I need to work on constantly checking the calendar and managing my time well in order to get the most out of this class. With this assessment I also learned more about the implications of animations beyond entertainment or advertising, which is education. I am still curious to understand more about the animation industry in movies or games, and will continue searching for more research in that direction. Learning about the whole field of animation will help me further explore what I can do for my original work.
